I consider myself a "Technologist". To me that means I am someone who immerses myself in technology and gadgets and upcoming trends without the baggage of knowing what these things mean or how they work.
I hate Apple. I just thought I'd get that out of the way. I have a completely irrational hatred of anything "i" or Mac or fruit in general.
I don't consider myself a Microsoft fanboy either. I like windows better than any other solution because of the choice I have in association with using Windows. I have tried Linux (Ubuntu and Puppy) but because some of the programs I use don't have an equivalent, Windows wins. That said; Windows Phone sucks. I love Android in the mobile arena. I am privileged in that regard because I have a "pure Google" experience with my HTC Nexus One which is a phone built for Google. I've used a couple other flavors of Android such as the HTC sense UI and the Motorola MOTOBLUR interface and find these to be severely lacking. I fear having to get a new phone because I will definitely need to find another "Pure Google" experience.
I am a Gaming Nut®. I am first and foremost a PC Gamer. Of course I grew up on Nintendo, but from my first custom autoexec.bat floppy to run Wolfenstein 3D on my old Windows 3.1 computer I was hooked. I do have a console now, the PS3, but it's more of an entertainment center nowadays. Right now I'm in between games. Which sucks. Pretty soon Duke Nukem Forever will be out and I'll be good, for a while anyways.
I have a wife who is way too smart and beautiful for me and a daughter who takes after her mother. You may see either of them in some of the photos I post, but maybe not. We'll see. I also have a dog and four cats. That's at least four too many pets, and I'm not playing favorites. You will definitely see pictures of the animals eventually.
